Hi my name is Cristina Sisu. From February 2011, I am a post doctoral research associate in Mark Gerstein's group at Yale University.

Prior to my post doc, I have just completed my PhD in bioinformatics at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Dr Guy Grant at the Unilever Centre for Molecular Informatics. I was a member of Pembroke college.

Currently I am working on a number of projects. I am particularly interested in pseudogenes genesis, evolution and function.

Some of my favourite past times include: skiing, in particular in Santa Fe, going down the gym, reading and dancing.
